Disneyland!

Well we had free tickets

to DLand through a connection with Janet's sister Barbara, what a treat! It was busy, start of spring break so I wouldn't recommend anyone going there between now and Oct I hear! We knew it would be a different trip with Owen and Madeline even afraid of the dark kid rides so not being able to go on all the big rides was OK, plus Ryan did it hundreads of times as a kid growing up there. Good thing she wasn't crazy about the characters or princesses because those lines were hours too, isn't that sad you can't even see Mickey Mouse anymore by just going to DLand. Another year I guess in the middle of winter! We did check out Disneyland Adventures the new theme park across the street and it looked neat but not quite done. Madeline enjoyed the 8 0r so rides and walking around, having treats etc. The park really is amazing, I can send all our pics so if you want to see let me know. We were thinking about staying for fireworks at 9 and hitting splash mountain just before that but Madeline had a huge melt down and passes out (along with Owen) just after 8 so we cut our losses and headed out. It was a fun and busy day to remember!
