Getting the tree!

We got our tree the day before Thanksgiving because Ryan works this weekend. We went to a nice place near us and the guy charges only $35 and since we were one of the first there were endless perfect trees to choose from so it only took us a few minutes. They all start to look the same! The candy cane ornament Madeline is putting on the tree is one I made as a kid. Also she liked the homemade noodles for Thanksgiving dinner.

Playhouse Playdate and home pics

Owen was baptized

With Catholic tradition Owen was baptized last Sunday. It was a nice service in Carnation and we had a little get together afterwards. Owen did great through the whole thing, almost cried with the water over his head but decided it wasn't so bad after all. Thanks everyone!

Childrens Museum of Everett

Ryan and I took Madeline to the museum in Everett while Shauna watched Owen and took some pics of him. It was a fun day!

Mama's Aunt Marsha came to visit this week and Owen fell asleep in her lap rocking. Also some shots of big sis helping with bath and Isabel and Madeline being silly at dinner for mom and Jenni's bday.

Halloween 2008

We had a very fun Halloween this year, running out of time and carving the pumpkins on the day of and then going to Microsoft in Bellevue to trick or treat the offices with Paige and then home to go out with Isabel, Lily and Mia!

Madeline starts preschool!

What a big step! She is doing OK, takes a lot of getting used to after being home with us or with Gma/Papa for 3 years! She is going to Just 4 Kids in Snoqualmie 2 days a week which will be right on the way to moms work for when she goes back. The little potty and sinks are so cute I couldn't help it! We'll take more pics of the rest of the facility later.

Growing Fast

Owen is 6 weeks and counting, and the past few days mom has really felt he is getting big and loosing that newborn feel. He is growing out of clothes already! The pros are that he seems to know what night time is supposed to be for, he is talking to us (making noises other than crying) and I caught a smile on the camera. I have taken the pumpkin picture of Madeline in the gourd container every year now. Nice to live close to the patch so we can always go on a nice day.

Brother and Sister

Owen is pretty lucky to have such a nice sister who keeps track of all his needs. "mom he needs milk" "mom he is crying (yes I can hear that!), "we'll be right there buddy, sweetie, etc.". She helps him with tummy time and if he is sick Dr. Madeline to the rescue. She even wears a monkey outfit like him. Madeline is in her big girl bed now and also did a swim lesson on her own without us in the pool.

Oregon Coast

Shawn and Leah let us stay at their house in Oregon for almost a week, it was so nice! It rained the first part of the trip but that gave us an excuse to nap and take it easy. Then the last night it felt like Hawaii on the beach, we didn't even have coats or hats on. We'll miss the beach and marshmellows so until next time.
